Radialogica has entered into a global agreement with Sun Nuclear, a Mirion Medical Company, that enables Sun Nuclear to exclusively distribute Radialogica’s SciMoCa software for secondary dose computation and patient-specific quality assurance for online adaptive systems. SciMoCa provides the speed and performance requirements necessary to address the unique clinical and operational workflows associated with online adaptive treatment.
SciMoCa combines the accuracy of Monte Carlo and the precision of custom machine-specific beam models to enhance the robustness and reliability of independent dose calculation and plan QA across all major linear accelerators as well as CyberKnife, Radixact and ZAP-X treatment machines. SciMoCa additionally includes independent verification of radiotherapy dose calculations and patient QA for Elekta Unity delivery systems in real-time adaptive settings.
